Officials from Del Conca USA announced today that it would invest $30 million to expand its Italian tile manufacturing operation in Loudon County, creating 40 jobs for Innovation Valley.

Del Conca USA is expanding upon its 320,000 square-foot facility to add two production lines to double production capacity from 32 to 64 million square feet per year.

The installation of two new production lines will bring an advantage not only in increasing production – with the expansion of the range of sizes and styles manufactured – but also in the improvement of service to the American market, with faster delivery. The new facilities will be dedicated to the production of large formats and tiles of increased thickness.

“Approximately 1,300 Tennesseans are employed in the ceramic tile manufacturing sector, and this number is growing thanks to companies like Del Conca,” said Randy Boyd, Commissioner for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. “I want to thank Del Conca for choosing to expand in Loudon and for strengthening the Team Tennessee workforce by creating these valuable jobs for our state.”
